• ¼ cup flour
• 1 tsp salt
• ⅛ tsp pepper
• 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into ¼” strips
• ¼ cup butter
• 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
• 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
• 1 tbsp warchestershire
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1/4 c dry white wine
• cooked egg noodles
1. Coat meat with flour, salt, and pepper.
2. Melt butter in a deep pan and brown the meat on high 2-3 min per side. Remove meat and set aside do not clean pan
3. Sauté onions until browned and mushrooms in the same pan scraping up browned bits
4. Return meat to skillet. Add warchestershire and 1¾ cup water.
5. in another bowl Combine ¼ cup water with leftover flour mixture to make a thickener. Add to pan.
6. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
7. Stir together sour cream and wine in a bowl and slowly add mix to stroganoff . Heat until well blended and hot and salt and pepper to taste
8. Serve over fluffy hot rice or egg noodles
